Land Acknowledgement:
I acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional land of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. This land is part of the Haldimand Tract - land promised to the Six Nations which encompasses six miles on each side of the Grand River. The processes of colonization which led to me living on this land were, and continue to be, unjust and harmful to Indigenous peoples. As a settler, I seek to be accountable to these truths in ways that go beyond this acknowledgement. I share deep gratitude for the connection I feel to this land and the opportunity to live and work here.
